This is a participatory project about place, people and water, I picked two places to respond – Ping Che a village in North East New Territories and Sai Ying Poon. Water was collected on site accompanied with images and text written.
Both places are picked because of that they are under imminent development threat, while they are preserving Hong Kong’s culture, one agricultural, the other entrepreneurial. The water in tubes have to be packed in high degree of security according to the strict requirements of the post offices., lest the liquid within was explosives.
p.s. the text about Ping Che has been edited by the curator. (i shall include the original shortly)
